With the theme of ‘KAWAITI’, home decor store Kawaii has announced it is launching a new design trend for 2018.
The popular online home design retailer has launched a new trend, the “Kawai” theme.
Kawakus are small, sleek and cozy homes with bright and colourful designs that look like they were designed by the legendary Japanese illustrator and designer Takashi Murakami.

“Kawalas are one of the most beautiful and timeless Japanese homes,” the company said in a press release.
“It is the perfect place for kids, families and people who want to relax and enjoy a good time.”
The company said the theme will also feature products from the company’s online store.
“Kai is a new series that showcases Kawaii design that is inspired by the design inspirations of Takashi and his Kawaii characters,” Kawaii said in its press release, which was shared on its website.
“The theme is set to be unveiled on July 6th.
Stay tuned for more details.”‘
Kawashima’ theme has been around since 2012, when the company launched the “Shiro” series, which showcased designs that featured kawaias.
In 2014, the company announced that the series would be returning with “Kaleidoscope”, a series that showcased designs by the renowned Japanese artist, Masayoshi Murakamori.
Earlier this year, Kawaii announced the launch of the “Washio” series and said that the first installment would be unveiled in March.
